After 7 years I finally spend another long time at my home city and i experienced a very heavy snow. I remembered i feel very confused about life at that moment. Quited my last job as an AI developer, and deciding i will never going to work in a toxic environment again, but i didnt know what i should do, i feel i want to work on bitcoin, but i dont know what can i do. So i registered chaincode lab program at end of 2023 Dec. I have to say it is a great experience that in this process they break down bitcoin development to different parts and guide people step by step.

Spending a lot of time at thailand. Bangkok first, it is a very peaceful period that i have a very repeated day schedule. Going to coworking space, writing code, and go gym and loop. Unless there is a bitcoin meetup. Shout out to bob space, i really like the community and every time i go meet up there it is always encouraging
At the end of feb i went to chiang mai for a small conference there. Sats n fact, it is super hard core, and i like the chilled vide there. At the same time, AI agent starting booming and i get a lot of invites from friends, or friends’ friend, trying to build some AI stuff and want my advice. Everyday im at a situation that ok, i dont actually like doing this, but it looks cool and people are willing to pay me, so let me do one more project.

Yes my biggest memory of March is the earthquake haha. It is actually an earthquake from Myanmar but you can actually feel shaking at Bangkok. I was at a coworking space, first floor. I suddenly feel, does my head feel dizzy? The barista came out and saying : run!!!!!! Earthquake!!!!!
But i survived, not injured, not die.

I really forget what i did at april. I think more and more AI cases, small tools, consultancy, and POC. i remembered i helped a trader team building news monitor system using AI and some tools to help traders making decision fast using AI. it is an user case that has been in industry for a long time but with LLM everything should be re- build. Before we also use AI but we use more computer vision. Now, does computer vision still exists? The world is moving so fast. When i going through my album i only found this, my favourite photo i took this month, hk. Yes, i moved back to HK. My parents are so worried about after shock so they kind of half forced me move back to hk

Two things! First I met Wang Shun in person! He won the swimming olympics gold medal at tokyo! Finally i saw top athlete body in person! It is clearly to see they are more… i dont know Top athletes have body proportions and limb extensions that are distinctly different from others. When he passed by me, i didnt recognized him but i feel he is different with others(others around are athletes too!!) Anyway, he is super nice (maybe because it is common friends introduce me instead i stopping him randomly) and i still feel excited. Another thing is I straightened my hair.
I am naturally curly if you noticed. This is the first time in my life and im happy with my new haircut. 😁

I have to say I still feel empty in the middle of the year. I started working on open source project again and also i joined a team building … basically a competitor of lovable. It looks cool but im still not happy. At the same time i was reached out by Roxom TV team. I didnt realize it is an interview when i met olivia, i thought it is just having coffee with bitcoiner from argentina, then she suddenly said, are you willing to do it? Me “?? you are asking an engineer if she want to become a livestream producer? Ok! Every developers will do that!!
My first project is planning the Roxom TV launch party at HK. Sending a lot of emails, connecting a lot of venues, and nervously waiting for the party at August

Decorating the office! Making it from an empty office to a fully furnitured places with all those professional cameras and coffee machine (coffee is important! )

I cannot remember too much about Oct, seriously. This is the first month that I officially start working as a producer. A lot of new things to learn. Everyday I start with helping the host collecting all news, preparing livestream, inviting guests, and working with operators. It was a busy month so no photos!

Nov is great! An important friend visited me at hk and we explored a lot of places usually i dont go(i am an otaku, yes yes, so really big thanks to this friend forcing me going out a lot) Also I hosted my first interview with Kevin Loaec about the new launch of Liana Business. Stephan Livera reposted my twitter I am so happy about it

Bitcoin Mini conference! Finally I get a chance to contributing to nostr again. I did a workshop there and at the beginning i though no one will come but then room is full! Thank you everyone for showing up. We set up accounts and make post and zap each other together. It was really fun! And people asking questions about how the protocol actually works, why there is some account saying deleted since no one can actually delete your post. It brings me back to my first months at nostr

This time coming to conference is for work. But also my first time at middle east. I need to flag that I accidentally drop my phone from 41th floor and I found it back, everything just work. Nothing is broken. I love Iphone and my phone case!!
Looking back, I really think I've gone through a lot, and I want to give a shout-out to myself for making it through another year. No serious injuries, didn't die, still have two hands and two legs.
Next year, I need to write more code! I must! I've dreamed about writing code twice in the past month, and every time I talk with my friends, I end up saying, "Do you think I can still write code in the future?" ... But thank you to everyone for staying with me this year. I'm really tired; I could write a better wrap-up. I guess here we are. I hope we can continue being great friends in the coming years.
