1. Amber - v3.4.5

Amber is a Nostr event signer for Android that allows users to securely keep their nsec segregated in a dedicated app. This release improves relay connectivity and error handling by adding a button to restart relay connections, resending subscriptions on reconnect, and restarting relays automatically when message delivery fails. It also refines encryption handling to better support apps that do not yet implement NIP-44, reverts multi-window QR code reader support to fix issues with inverted codes, and generates new events on errors to prevent duplicates. Additionally, users now receive error notifications when event delivery fails, ensuring better reliability and transparency in relay communication. This was the biggest release of last week, but the latest release was v3.4.6, which had a small change.

4. Nostur - v1.23.0

Nostur is a social media-oriented Nostr client designed specifically for Apple devices, including Mac, iPhone, and iPad. 1. Nostr Java - v0.2.0

Nostr-java is a Java SDK for the Nostr protocol, enabling developers to create, sign, and publish events to relays for building decentralized applications. This release improves stability with WebSocket retries, enhances code quality through testing and coverage workflows, and strengthens event handling with a new tag registry and validation. Deprecated methods were removed, and logging and error handling were improved, making the SDK leaner, more reliable, and easier to use for Nostr-based applications. This was the latest release, and there were also releases of v.0.2.1.1, v.0.2.1, v.0.2.1.2 for last week.

2. Noscrypt - v0.1.12

Noscrypt is a Nostr-specific cryptography library written in C, providing secure and efficient operations for Nostr applications. This release upgrades libsecp256k1 to 0.7.0 and vnlib.core to 0.1.2-rc.7, raises the minimum CMake version to 3.22, and trims unused files for better maintainability. It also improves memory safety in the C# wrapper and adds internal debug checks for the OpenSSL backend, strengthening both security and reliability.

3. NostrDVM - 1.1.3

NostrDVM is a framework for running NIP-90 decentralized virtual machines (DVMs) on Nostr. This release introduces heartbeat events, where DVMs now send a kind 11998 event every 300 seconds to signal they are active, with each heartbeat expiring after 300 seconds. In addition, status responses and replies now expire after 10 minutes by default, preventing unnecessary storage on relays and ensuring that DVM notes exist only temporarily. These updates improve reliability, efficiency, and relay storage management for DVM-based applications.

4. Snstr - v0.1.2

Snstr (Secure Nostr Software Toolkit for Renegades) is a developer toolkit designed to make building on Nostr more secure and accessible. This release is a critical fix update that resolves a major module resolution error introduced in v0.1.1.
