1. Noscall - v0.1.0 - New tool

NosCall is a secure audio and video calling application built on the Nostr protocol, offering end-to-end encrypted communication with full cross-platform support. This first release introduces compatibility with NIP-100 clients like 0xchat, along with Bunker/Amber login support, call history management, voice and video calling features, and a contact list for seamless connection.

2. Nostr Ynstant Messenger - v2.16.39

Nostr Ynstant Messenger is a lightweight ephemeral and persistent chat client built on the Nostr protocol, integrating with Bitchat for anonymous and temporary messaging. This release introduces forward secrecy for disappearing private messages, which can be enabled from settings, and includes a hotfix to ensure messages are correctly routed to the right threads. This was the latest release and there were also some few more releases last week.

3. Primal Android App - 2.5.20

Primal Android App is Primal’s official Android application for Nostr, providing users with a full-featured interface for live streams, notifications, and content interaction. This release adds a replay button for streams, new notification settings for live streams and reply-to-reply messages, and improves the article content parser for images and notes. It also fixes issues with zap receipts, timestamps, stream rewinding, keyboard dismissal, player controls, and wallet display, while upgrading acinq libraries to resolve a 16KB issue on Google Play. This was the biggest release of the week and the latest release was 2.5.21.

🎁 Developer Tools, Updates and Releases

1. Nostr Web Publisher (nw-publisher) - New Developer tool

Nostr Web Publisher (nw-publisher) is a full-featured command-line interface (CLI) tool for managing static websites on Nostr. It allows developers and creators to deploy sites as signed Nostr events, track versions, monitor relay status, synchronize content across multiple relays, and clean up outdated deployments, all through a single, streamlined interface. This tool empowers users to efficiently maintain decentralized websites while ensuring authenticity, version control, and smooth multi-relay operation.

2. Mostro CLI - v0.14.2

Mostro CLI is a command-line interface tool for Mostro, allowing users to view all new replaceable events from the Mostro platform. This release introduces automatic updates of child orders in the database to prevent errors in flow, a major cosmetic refactor that beautifies terminal output for better readability, and various bug fixes including corrections in the getdm command and GH Actions tests. Additional improvements include 78 new unit tests with documentation, clippy error fixes, race condition adjustments, and removal of OpenSSL dependency for cleaner builds, enhancing both usability and reliability.

3. Gitplaza - v0.16.0

GitPlaza is a desktop Nostr client specialized in managing git-related content. This release adds a dropdown for copying event IDs, rebroadcasting events, and viewing event JSON, displays information toasts, allows opening events directly from Nostr URIs, highlights code syntax in markdown, and increases event title size. It also stops banning relays on event mismatch and improves performance by showing loaded events immediately. The release removes the buggy "Show more/less" toggle to simplify the interface and improve reliability. This was the latest release and there was also the release of v0.15.0 last week.

🌐 Relay Updates and Releases

1. Nosflare - v7.4.11

Nosflare is a serverless Nostr relay designed for Cloudflare Workers, utilizing a Cloudflare D1 database and R2 Object Storage for scalable, decentralized message handling. This release includes hotfixes addressing a critical bug that could cause runaway durable object billing and fixes to event tags in the archival process, ensuring stable and efficient relay operation.
