1. Flotilla - 1.4.0

Flotilla is a Discord-like Nostr client built around the concept of β€œrelays as groups,” enabling users to join and interact within community-based relay spaces. This release introduces message editing, improved synchronization logic, and room management features such as creation permissions, icon picking, and deletion. It also enhances navigation, performance, and mention suggestions while adding support for relay and group member lists, connection status indicators, and fixes for modals and zapper loading. This was the biggest release of the week and the latest release was 1.4.1.

2. Primal Android App - 2.5.22

Primal Android App is Primal’s Android client for the Nostr protocol, designed to deliver a fast, social, and media-rich Nostr experience on mobile. This latest release focuses on stability improvements, specifically fixing a crash issue that occurred when parsing invalid Lightning Network (LN) invoices.

3. Nostr Ynstant Messenger - v2.16.45

Nostr Ynstant Messenger is a lightweight ephemeral and persistent chat client built on the Nostr protocol, designed to bridge with Bitchat for anonymous and temporary messaging. This release delivers a hotfix resolving an issue where the user context menu failed to correctly identify the right user for blocking or slapping. This was the latest release and there were also some more multiple releases within the week. (v2.16.44, v2.16.42, v2.16.41. v2.16.40)

4. Iris - v2.2.4

Iris is a Nostr client that provides a decentralized interface for messaging, posting, and networking on the Nostr protocol. The v2.2.4 release introduces key improvements, including support for Lightning and Nostr URI handling, a fix for Lightning payment receiving, enhanced profile editing stability, and the ability to send ecash directly within DM view. It also includes refinements to mint metadata, listings, and group metadata transmission, ensuring smoother decentralized interactions and payments across the network. This was the biggest release of the week and the latest release was v2.2.5.

5. Noscall - v0.2.0

Noscall is a secure audio and video calling application built on the Nostr protocol, offering end-to-end encrypted communication and cross-platform compatibility for private, censorship-resistant calls. This release introduces several updates, including a new user profile settings page, optimized profile and avatar fetching logic, portrait mode enforcement, and improvements to relay and ICE server lists. It also resolves key issues like contact list refresh errors and the auto-login bug, ensuring a smoother and more reliable communication experience.

1. Replicatr - New Developer Tool

Replicatr is a background daemon designed to automatically monitor Nostr relay selections and replicate user events according to the outbox model. It ensures that a user’s published Nostr events are efficiently synchronized and distributed across multiple relays, maintaining data consistency, redundancy, and availability within the decentralized Nostr network.

2. Aegis - v0.3.0

Aegis is a simple and cross-platform Nostr signer designed to securely manage keys and sign events while supporting multiple connection methods for seamless interoperability across clients. This introduces the ability to set up a local relay directly within the app and expands support to iOS, Android, macOS, Linux, and Windows, making it more versatile for users across platforms.

3. Gitplaza - v0.17.0

Gitplaza is a desktop Nostr client specialized in handling git-related activities and repositories within the Nostr ecosystem. This release introduces several major upgrades, including follow/unfollow functionality, enhanced profile editing (covering relays, contact lists, and hashtags), npub copying, and improved UI elements. It now integrates blog posts into inbox and activity feeds, refines git issue and patch displays, and improves performance by prioritizing key event publishing and data loading while reducing unnecessary allocations. The update also simplifies the interface by removing the Upvote section and noisy reactions/reposts.
